People always talk about a decision or non-decision that changes ones life. In Newton’s Laws of Motion terms, “for every reaction, there is an equal and opposite reaction”. Or according to Frost, “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference…”
Pathway to Surf Heaven
Well, two years ago today, on a gray and rainy day, I hopped on the Far Rockaway A train, shimmied into a wetsuit, and fell in love with wiping-out on a surfboard. I could not even begin to fathom where this sport was going to take me and how addicted I was going to become to dancing with waves.
Then, a little over a year after taking my first surf lesson, I decided to finally start putting down my crazy thoughts and ideas in a blog, Samba to the Sea. From time to time, I look back and read my posts, and I feel fortunate that I have dedicated time to journaling my life. To say the least, what an adventure it has been!
I look forward to many more laugh-my-butt off wipeouts and continuing to “samba to the sea”…♥ Parabéns!!
